Over the last 10 years, Ameya Talwalkar has built strong engineering teams specializing in enterprise and consumer security in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Madrid, Pune, and Chengdu. Before co-founding Cequence Security, he was Director of Engineering at Symantec, where he was responsible for its anti-malware software stack that leverages network Intrusion prevention and behavior and reputation technologies, and anti-virus engines. Under his leadership, Symantec developed an advanced version of network intrusion prevention technology that blocks more than two billion threats a year. Ameya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai’s Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE).

Shreyans Mehta is an innovator in network security and holds several patents in the field. Before co-founding Cequence Security, he was Architect and Technical Director at Symantec, where he led the development of one of the most advanced network security platforms and intrusion prevention technologies based on real-time packet inspection and cloud-based big data analytics. It’s responsible for detecting more than half of the billions of threats that Symantec identifies every year. Shreyans has a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.

Nikunj Bansal is the VP of Engineering at Cequence Security. As VP of Engineering, Nikunj is responsible for ensuring that design requirements are met, overseeing the consistency of user experiences, and managing a team of talented engineers. Over 25 years’ experience as a software engineer, team leader and manager he has led teams that have designed and implemented software products in various domains ranging from Banking, Security, Complex Events Processing and Big Data. Prior to joining Cequence, Nikunj held senior engineering and management roles at companies such as MapR, Informatica, Tibco and Sun Microsystems. Nikunj holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.

Equally, Randolph emphasizes building transparency within security programs to enhance trust and demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding customer interests. Varun has held leadership positions in marketing, product management, and product development at both startups and large companies, and is on the advisory board of many startups. Both he and his work have been featured in major publications such as Daily Mail, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, MarketWatch, and USA Today. Varun has appeared in broadcast outlets such as NBC’s The Today Show, MSNBC, FOX, Kron4, ABC, and CBS. Varun has been a part of multiple successful exits - 8 out of 10 companies he has worked at were either acquired or went IPOs - Skycure (acquired by Symantec/Broadcom), IronPort Systems (acquired by Cisco), CipherTrust (acquired by Secure Computing/McAfee/Intel), ArcSight, which was acquired by HP after being the only company in the valley to go IPO in 2009. Glen Maloney is ANZ Country Manager for Cequence and is a cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience. Starting at Sophos, Glen has worked exclusively in the cyber industry with vendors such as Checkpoint, Extrahop and Cequence. With his work at Extrahop and Cequence, Glen has been responsible for building a brand and sales team within ANZ, delivering an average 205% achievement against target, and consistently delivering net new logos. Glen’s strengths are building longevity in his relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers. Outside of his professional career, Glen contributes strongly to his local sports community and is Allambie Jets Rugby Club president.

Andy Mills is Vice President of EMEA Sales for Cequence Security and assists organizations with their API Security and Bot Management strategies, from discovery to compliance and protection. He’s a passionate advocate of the need to secure the entire API lifecycle using a unified approach. Prior to joining Cequence, he held roles as CRO for a major tax technology provider and was part of the original worldwide team of pioneers that brought Palo Alto Networks, the industry’s leading Next-Generation Firewall, to market. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Leeds Beckett University.
