After a busy week sharing our news of $17M in Series B funding with the media, we followed that with a week of non-stop craziness at RSA 2019. And it was a good one.
We locked down prime real estate in the Early Stage Expo and spent 3 days discussing application security challenges – and the Cequence Security platform – with hundreds of prospective customers that came by to see us.
On day 2, Shreyans Mehta, Cequence co-founder and CTO, delivered an educational presentation on automated bot attacks and defense strategies to a standing-room-only crowd at the Expo theater. Clearly, there is strong interest in defending against this new #1 cyberthreat.
Apart from activities on the show floor, nearly every hour was filled with meetings, podcasts, and video interviews with more than a dozen members of the press and analyst community – and several more with prospective technology and channel partners interested in collaboration.
Finally, we hosted a private dinner with the most important audience – our customers – to spend some quiet time learning more about their challenges today, and their plans tomorrow.
All of this activity was very educational for us and positions Cequence Security well for continued growth and disruption of the application security market throughout 2019 and beyond.
